Don't Miss This Special LW Transmission

On 12 December 2021, the long-wave transmitter of AM Italia on 207kHz will be switched on at Ville Estense (Padua), the power used will be 1kW with a 350m wire aerial. The commemorative broadcast is organised to commemorate the connection between Poldhu [Cornwall] and St Johns, Newfoundland with Marconi's speech and 3 dots of the letter ‘S’ repeatedly. The Marconi transmission from Poldhu to Newfoundland was on 12 December 1901.
