I had a great time at the Golborne Swapmeet of the British Vintage Wireless Society, on Sunday 3rd November 2019. This is one of my 'local' radio shows and easy to reach. I always marvel at the wealth of beautiful radios on display, and for sale, at this event, as well as at the rare books and magazines available. It was good, for this vintage editor, to see some vintage copies of RadioUser and Practical Wireless on display as well. The event is also a great source of resources if you can appreciate the Art of Radio, and I was lucky enough to be able to take some beautiful books home (picture). A friendly atmosphere and lots of people to share your hobby with, made for a successful day out. I am looking forward to the next BVWS event, and I do enjoy their beautifully-made newsletter, the Bulletin. The BVWS was featured in RadioUser before.
