SSTV Issues Resolved

 

Following a problem with Slow-Scan Television (SSTV) experimental transmissions from the International Space Station on 8th June 2022, our correspondent Bob Houston was able to receive the image shown on 9th June. Bob describes the parameters as follows:

 

June 9th – I received attached ISS SSTV picture; 145.800MHz FM wide with a horizontal dipole in the loft. A horizontal aerial may be superior to a vertical if the bird passes directly overhead. How I do it is on the second link below. See also Practical Wireless, April 2022.”
