Local Radio at its Best

During Christmas Time, the local radio station for the Ribble Valley in Lancashire UK (106.7 Ribble FM) likes to get out and about and bring live shows from venues that may have festive activities like fairs, community events and celebrations in general!

They recently took part in the Longridge Christmas Markets – which thanks to a deal with the organisers – Ribble FM broadcast a Saturday Afternoon Show live from the main stage in the Marquee!

Ably assisted by Maureen Little – who presents A Little Classical Music show on a Sunday Afternoon between 4-6 pm – Mark ‘Blackers’ Blackman from the Breakfast Show presented live on-stage music, fun and games including singalong classics and even a power cut during one show! – Mo and Mark sang Jingle Bells in the dark by torchlight whilst they waited for the power to come on!
