Available in early June 2019, the FT-3D has a TFT colour screen and incorporates Bluetooth for wireless connectivity to their low-cost headset, SSM-BT10. The radio sports many advanced features including a BandScope function, which allows monitoring of up to 79 channels, wideband receive (including airband AM), a 500kHz - 999.99MHz range, and even a TX/RX audio recording facility, via a microSD card slot.
