This is only about 1.5 miles away from the old Lowton hall (which has now been demolished).

Getting there:

From the M6:

Leave at J23 and head towards Manchester.

Second left, onto B5207.

Right onto Thirlmere Road.

Left at T junction onto Ullswater Road.

Right onto Rivington Avenue.

Coming from the other way:

A58 to Platt Bridge.

A573 Through Abram becomes Wigan Road.

At the Junction with B5207 turn left onto B5207 Lowton Road.

Left onto Thirlmere Road.

Left at T junction onto Ullswater Road.

Right onto Rivington Avenue.

For those using public transport, the event is a 40-minute taxi ride from Manchester, a 10-minute taxi ride from Newton-le-Willows railway station, and a 25-minute taxi ride from Warrington Bank Quay railway station. Local bus services are also available with a 10-minute walk to the event.
