Dual-Band Radio and Smartphone Combined
Having a 4W handheld that does FM analogue and DMR with an Android smartphone combined in the same device seems to look impossible.
However, the RFinder is a reality. This radio is Dual Band (136-174 and 400- 480MHz). Take it anywhere. No need to carry a smartphone and a transceiver separately. What if you can’t reach a repeater? That’s not an issue. Use a DMR hotspot and magic happens, or you can also use the RFinder to access Echolink and the IRN (International Radio Network) via the internet. Remember, the RFinder is a 4G/ LTE device. So you can surf the web just like you would do on any android phone. DMR operation is exciting, but dealing with code plugs can be a terrible headache. RFinder makes it easy. What if you could have a radio with a database of all DMR repeaters that updates continuously, and you just have to point and click to change to the right frequency and settings? And this is not only regarding DMR, but also analogue repeaters and Echolink nodes. This is the RFinder concept. DMR made easy! Get your GPS location, fi nd nearby repeaters, select it from the list, and the radio is fully confi gured! This 4Watt transceiver is also a powerful 4G/LTE Android smartphone, and it works well in US/ CA, EU, UK, Australia and most countries.
