Lindars Radios (see October Newsdesk) has now been in its current premises in Yeovil since the end of September and reports that the new shop has had a fantastic effect on the business so far. They have had a great response from a wide network of clientele, with plenty of customers through the doors, including many local radio enthusiasts and even people making a special trip from much further afield. It has been a delight to welcome people to the shop and talk about all things radio. The collection of items is growing daily. Customers really enjoy having a look at the vintage section, which includes some early crystal sets and fascinating world war Morse keys. There is also an area where customers can sit down and have a go at Morse, and an external HF antenna, which allows customers to try out radios before they buy. Amy joined the team just after the shop opened and is helping with website sales and promotions.
