Nevada have announced the new Powerex C-980 Intelligent charger/analyser. The C-980 will charge from one to eight AA/ AAA NiMH batteries with independent charging circuits for each battery. It also includes a ‘one touch’ battery health analyser with capacity readout to provide accurate data. The C 980 has a Turbocharge mode for rapid recharging of batteries (approximately one hour for 20000mAh). A built-in thermal management system ensures the batteries are kept cool during charge and a deep battery conditioning system enables old batteries to be revitalised.
